- When you get such an error, it means that your email client has not been configured correctly. To set your mail client, please follow these instructions:
- On your browser (the browser is assumed to be Microsoft Internet Explorer here) click on "Tools" option and click on "Internet Options"
- You would see an Internet Options window, now select the "Programs" tab and spot the "E-mail:" option
- Now click on the drop-down list and select your email client, if you are not sure what your mail client is, Click on Microsoft Office Outlook and click "Apply" and then "OK"
Your mail client should be set now. Try clicking on the Subscribe button again.
- You can subscribe the following way also:
- Open a new mail
- In the "To" field enter -> listserv@listserv.umkc.edu
- In the "Subject" field enter -> Subscribe <<your name>>
- In the message body enter SUBSCRIBE DIRT <your First Name> <your Last Name>
- And click on Send
- You should receive a confirmation mail shortly, you are now subscribed to the DIRT group.
- You can Unsubscribe the following way:
- Open a new mail
- In the "To" field enter listserv@listserv.umkc.edu
- In the "Subject" field enter -> Signoff <<your name>>
- In the message body enter SIGNOFF DIRT
- And click on Send
- You should receive a confirmation mail shortly, you are now unsubscribed from the DIRT group.
